JoyHomes was set up to fix the two complaints everybody has about renting in London: tenants can't get anything fixed, and landlords can't get a straight answer.
Built from the tenant's side of the table
We started where most people start — renting rooms in London, dealing with agents who were hard to reach and repairs that took months. JoyHomes is the version of that experience we wished existed.
Today we let and manage rooms, studios and flats across east, south-east and central London. We keep the portfolio deliberately close to home so we can get to a property the same day when something goes wrong.
We're not trying to be the biggest agency in London. We're trying to be the one people recommend to a friend.
Three things we don't compromise on
Say it straight
Real photos, real prices, real availability. If a room has a small window or sits above a pub, we'll tell you before you travel across London to see it.
Fix it fast
Maintenance is handled by our own team wherever we can. Reported issues are logged and tracked until they're closed, not until the conversation stops.
Look after both sides
A tenancy only works when the tenant and the landlord are both happy. We're not interested in a deal that leaves one of them out of pocket.
